Description
Delivery Requirements The Contractor shall deliver pressurized "Tube Trucks" with Divers grade breathing Nitrogen gas that meets the requirements of Commercial Specifications: (a) Federal Specification A-A-59155 with Notice 1 dated 02 Jan 2008, Nitrogen, High Purity, Special Purpose. (b) Compressed Gas Association (CGA) V1 Standard for Compressed Gas Cylinder Outlet and Inlet Connections dated 14 Nov 2005 amended 9 Sept 2009. (c) Compressed Gas Association (CGA) V10 High Pressure Gas Trailer Connections dated 01 Jan 2010. Delivery is required within 3 working days after receipt of the order. Physical delivery of the "Tube Truck" will be to the NSWC PCD Hydrospace Laboratory, Building 413, Bullfinch Road. Upon arrival and prior to delivery at Building 413, NSAPC/ Hazmat Personnel must be contacted at Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave. Expected usage of this gas is as follows: NITROGEN: thirteen (13) truckloads at approximately 44,000 standard cubic feet (scf) per truck. For the gas deliveries the Contractor shall ensure each truck has been inspected and the valve manifold area which manages the offloading of the truck contents is thoroughly cleaned and that all valves, gauges and hose connection caps are operational and installed prior to delivery using the guidance of the Commercial Specifications referenced above. The contractor shall ensure the truck connection fitting will not be changed from the agreed upon connection fittings already in use by NSWC PCD without prior notice to the Government. The Government point of contact will be provided after contract award. The Hydrospace Laboratory holds the necessary fittings to connect the Gas Offload Umbilical to the facility. The Contractor shall ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and material reliability of the tube trucks and their gas handling manifold valves and gauges. The PCO will notify the Contractor of any issues or deficiencies and the Contractor shall correct the issues or deficiencies within one day of notification. Delays in repairing and deficiencies noted to the Contractor by the PCO will not be chargeable days for truck or labor to the Government.
