Description
The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the United States Army Center for Environmental Health Research (USACEHR). This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This requirement is restricted to Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 with a size standard of 500 people. This code shall be listed in System for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to award. The following are the Minimum Essential Characteristics for the requirement: The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) for custom synthesis of peptides. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This requirement is restricted to Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325199 with a size standard of 1,000 people. This code shall be listed in System for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to award. The following are the Minimum Essential Characteristics for the requirement: USACEHR is developing a gnotibiotic rodent husbandry facility within its vivarium and requires three flexible film isolators and supporting equipment and accessories. Flexible Film Isolators: 1.shall be made of 20 mil vinyl, flexible film mounted on a wheeled table/cart. 2.shall include one isolator with two large compartment (5' 2' 2') in a two level stacked design. 3.shall include one isolator with two mid-sized compartment (3' 2' 2') in a two level stacked design. 4.shall include one isolator with four small compartments (2.5' 2' 2') in a two level stacked design, two compartments per level. 5.shall include a 12 quote mark diameter access port with clamp on port cover. 6.shall include a blower and manifold system to enable positive pressure HEPA filtered air. 7.shall be compatible with vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) sterilization. 8.shall be capable of maintain a germ free environment within the isolator compartment. 9.shall include glove ports and gloves to allow work within each compartment without compromising sterility of interior. Supporting Equipment and accessories 1.Double sterilizing table shall be able to support to 12 quote mark 24 quote mark sterilizing cylinders at levels suitable for connection to the two level isolators. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about June 23, 2014, and will only be available until July 3, 2014. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-14-T-0269. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. To be eligible for an award, offerors SHALL be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and have completed its representations and certification completed via SAM. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via www.SAM.gov. All questions should be addressed in writing to Jennifer Hayden, Contract Specialist at jennifer.e.hayden.civ@mail.mil. Only one set of questions shall be received from each offeror. Numerous emails from one offeror shall not be accepted. No questions will be accepted after June 30, 2014 at 05:00 p.m. EST. Bidder lists will not be maintained. All interested parties shall provide their quote to Jennifer Hayden at jennifer.e.hayden.civ@mail.mil by 02:00 p.m. EST on July 3, 2014 in order to be considered for this solicitation.
