- The 410th Contracting Support (CSB), Regional Contracting Center (RCC) intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) The Contractor shall provide transportation with drivers to transport personnel supplies, materials, equipment, and containers safely and expeditiously from Port to designated locations as specified in table 1 and in coordination with the Contracting Officer (KO) or designated Government Representative. (GR) The contractor shall Provide eleven (11) 15-PASSENGER vehicles to accommodate passengers, one 5 passenger vehicle and one 3.5 Ton Truck, from 22 July 2014 through 27 August 2014.d locations outside the port city between 0700-1900 daily is responsible for providing any and all vehicles with drivers, fuel, road-tolls, insurance, parking fees and any other expenses necessary to provide safe and adequate transportation under the terms and conditions of this contract Obtaining the solicitation: The solicitation will be issued unrestricted to allow U.S. and non U.S. firms to participate. The solicitation, including all specifications of the requirement, will be available for download from FedBizOpps - website: http://www.fbo.gov. All notifications of changes to this Solicitation will be made through the internet only. NAICS 4532112 (Size Standard:$14M) applies to this procurement. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal. The RFQ will be posted to ASFI/FedBizOpp on or about 26 June 2014 with quotes due on or about 2 July 2014. Any amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) prior to the closing date listed in the solicitation. Prior to registering in SAM, contractors must obtain a DUN and Bradstreet number at 1-800-333-0505. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist and received by 3:00 pm EDT, 28 June 2014 or emailed to lastenia.goldian.civ@mail.mil. Due to the remote areas of this requirement and the location being a high risk area, recommend that all interested sources, both local and U.S. check the U.S. State Department travel advisory website for any travel advisory information for that location. Contract Information: The award will be based on Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable Offer (LPTA) best value acquisition which will be cited in the solicitation. The period of performance of this contract is based on 10 calendar days from the date of the award. The resulting contract type shall be firm fixed price. Obtaining the solicitation: The solicitation will be issued unrestricted to allow U.S. and non U.S. firms to participate. The solicitation, including all specifications of the requirement, will be available for download from FedBizOpps - website: http://www.fbo.gov. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet only. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. The solicitation and any future amendments to the solicitation will be available for download via the FedBizOpps website on or about 20 June 2014. Contemplating Awardee: Since the contemplating contract is to be awarded by the contracting activity located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas and to be performed in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, the Offerors must meet the following two requirements for OCONUS: (1) DFARS 252.225-7042, quote mark Authorization to Perform quote mark - The Offeror has been duly authorized to operate and to do business in the country or countries in which the contract is to be performed, and (2) FAR 52.236-7, quote mark Permits and Responsibilities quote mark - The Contractor shall, without additional expense to the Government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with any host government and political subdivisions laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the work.
