- Technical Data Non-Disclosure Past Performance Questionnaire Past Performance Data Dry Dock Evaluation Form Interport Differential Disclosure of Lobbying Activities Request for Spec Clarification MSC Ship Repair Facility Survey Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Government-Furnished Material List Category B Work Items Category A Work Items The Military Sealift Command (MSC) - Norfolk has a requirement in support of an upcoming Regular Overhaul and Drydocking (ROH/DD) for the United States Navy Ship (USNS) Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187). The anticipated period of performance for this availability is 1 October 2014 for a period of 60-calendar days. The USNS Kaiser general characteristics: Length: 678 ft Beam: 98 ft Draft: 36 ft Displacement: 9,500 - 41,225 tons Speed: 20 knots The work is to be performed at contractor's facility on or about the above mentioned dates. Area of consideration is the West Cost, US. Major work items associated with this availability include: Docking and un-docking ship; main engine exhaust resilient mounts replacement; main engine exhaust expansion joints replacement; aft expansion joint steel replacement and preservation; lifeboat, davit maintenance, and testing; oily water separator (OWS) replacement, and stern tube seal replacement. MSC-Norfolk will issue a Firm-Fixed-Price. This is a competitive acquisition, Unrestricted under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 336611 - Ship Building and Repairing. The small business size standard for this NAICS code per the Table of Small Business (SB) Size Standards Matched to NAICS Code (January 7, 2013), is 1,000 employees. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for changes to the solicitation package via amendments. All offerors shall ensure that they have completed the annual representations and certificates electronically via https://www.acquisition.gov and are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov. Ensure that the applicable NAICS code 336611 is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of proposals. All offerors interested in this procurement shall provide its Dun and Brandstreet (DUNS) number, to include its assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference the RFP Number N32205-14-R-1007 in the subject line. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. The RFP will be available for downloading through the site. The tentative solicitation issue date is 17 July 2013 and the anticipated closing date is 19 August 2013.
