Description
Insuring Forage(IDIQ)/Data Gathering for Forage Producer Needs(Task Order one): On behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture/Risk Management Agency, the Department of the Interior has awarded a single-award IDIQ contract and task order one to Agralytica Consulting. The objective of the IDIQ contract is to conduct data gathering, analysis and potential development regarding insurance for forage. This effort will involve several phases that will be accomplished via task orders. The acquisition was conducted utilizing the procedures in FAR Parts 12, 13.5, and 16.5. The acquisition was a 100% set aside for small businesses. The IDIQ minimum is $200,000, while the maximum is $4,000,000. The IDIQ, effective July 7, 2014, includes a one year Base Period and four, one year Option Periods. The period of performance for Task Order one is from July 7, 2014 through November 3, 2014. The IDIQ primarily allows for firm-fixed-price orders, but will allow for time-and-materials/labor-hour orders on a limited basis when the Government is not able to anticipate the amount of work required to complete the task. For example, a labor-hour contract will be utilized when utilizing contractor support to address document review comments.
