- Sources Sought, MRTC GCSS-MC Support, outlining the requirement and looking for interested small businesses SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Material Readiness Training Center (MRTC), Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) Technical Support And Consulting Services The Regional Contracting Office MCIWEST, Camp Pendleton, CA is conducting market research to identify businesses interested in and capable of providing consulting and technical support services for materiel readiness training to include Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) in support of the 1 st Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This support will provide a materiel readiness subject matter expert (SME) to support materiel readiness training. The augmentation support will include coordinating MRTC activities and teaching MRTC course materials. In-depth knowledge of GCSS-MC Oracle and the Marine Corps Supply and Maintenance business processes are required. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code for this project 611420 Computer Training, with a corresponding size standard of $10 mil. The deadline for receipt of this capabilities statement package is 26 June 2014 at 3:00pm PST. The package may be emailed to: Mr. Marty W. Hammonds, Contract Specialist at marion.hammonds@usmc.mil. If you have any questions or comments, please submit in writing to the above e-mail. All Small Businesses are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a capabilities statement, no more than 5 pages in length (single-spaced, 12-point font minimum) that clearly details the firm's ability to perform all aspects of this notice. The capabilities statement must include the following: •1. How you will manage the multiple tasks outlined in the PWS. •2. List relevant experience (within the last three years) to include experience performing efforts of similar size, scope and complexity to the requirements identified in this source sought, most notably with regard to the Marine Corps Supply/Logistics area and GCSS-MC. a. Identify the contract number, and whether performance was as a prime or subcontractor, b. the contract value, c. The Government/Civilian agency point of contact and current telephone number and email address; Contractors are reminded that THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of performing the described work. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall not constitute responses to a solicitation, which is not currently available. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Sources Sought Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. The following specifications are to be considered a DRAFT and informational purpose only in support of this SOURCES SOUGHT. d.
