- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Carson is seeking to identify the interest and ability of businesses to deliver QTY 2825 Cubic Yards (CY) of Colorado Department of Transportation Class P concrete ready mix and QTY 7445 Net Tons of Class 6 Aggregate - 3/4 in Road Base. The following are delivery requirements. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 327320 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. For the QTY 2825 CY of CDOT Class P concrete ready mix: Deliveries are planned for approximately between 17 JULY 2014 and 30 OCTOBER 2014. If you cannot meet the 17 JULY 2014 start date for delivery, please specify the date which you can begin deliveries. Deliveries will be made to the project site at Pinion Canyon Maneuver Site, located near approximately hour's drive from Trinidad, CO. The deliveries will generally be within a two mile radius of the headquarters building. Contractor will be given a minimum of a 48 hour notice for requested deliveries. Requests from the Authorized Government Representative will include the day, beginning time, rate, intervals and quantity for the delivery. The expected placement rate is approximately 10 CY per half-hour. Contractor will be given a minimum of a 24 hour notice for postponement of previously requested deliveries. Daily delivery requests will be between a minimum of 10 CY and maximum of 200 CY. Concrete must be placed within 90 minutes of batching. Deliveries will be required within the hours of 0730 hours to 1700 hours, Monday through Saturday, Federal Holidays excluded. For the QTY 7445 Net Tons of Class 6 Aggregate - 3/4 in Road Base delivery requirements are as follows: Deliveries are planned to start approximately 17 JULY 2014 and be complete no later than 31 JULY 2014, and be daily deliveries must be no less than 200 tons. If you cannot meet the 17 JULY 2014 start date for delivery, please specify the date which you can begin deliveries. Pinion Canyon Maneuver Site, located near approximately hour's drive from Trinidad, CO. The deliveries will generally be within a two mile radius of the headquarters building. Deliveries will be made in end dumps. The contractor will not be required to stockpile the individual truck deliveries into a single stockpile. The deliveries may be made within the hours of 0730 hours to 1700 hours, Monday through Saturday, Federal Holidays excluded. This requirement is solely the material and delivery of the material to the above location. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. All parties are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. In responding to this sources sought, please indicate your: (1) interest and ability to do the above work (2) if your business is 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and/or HUBZone certified, large, or small. (3) Past experience delivering this type of supply. (5) Company information to include Company Name, Physical address, Phone Number, and E-mail address. Submit this information to the POC below, preferably via e-mail. If enough responses are received in response to this sources sought notice the combined synopsis/solicitation will issued on or about 25 June 2014. The announcement will be made available through Army Single Face to Industry at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and www.fbo.gov at that time. Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the combined synopsis solicitation. All vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database or they will not be eligible for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM website at www.sam.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a purchase order or multiple purchases orders nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
