Description

SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION The VA has a requirement to provide Gastro / Colonoscopy Services to the Memphis VA Medical Center (VAMC). Services are to be provided off-site at the contractor's facility as the Memphis VAMC is without sufficient space and staff to complete the average number of procedures required annually. Interested contractors shall be licensed physicians or healthcare providers in the state in which they propose to provide services, and shall be required to provide all services outlined in the Statement of Work. The Contractor shall be required to provide the physicians, the space, and the medications, etc. to perform the services outlined in the Statement of Work. An example of the Statement of Work for these services is attached. Invoicing and reimbursement for services shall be based upon CPT codes, and the service shall include the physician's service, any facility costs, any anesthesia or medication costs, and physician assistance costs. A listing of the types of services to be provided by CPT code is included in the attached sample Statement of Work. The Contractor's facilities shall be located within a one-hundred (100) mile radius of the Memphis VAMC, located at 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN. If an award is made in response to a subsequently issued solicitation, the Awardee will have exclusive rights to provide services within the Awardee's specified coverage area. Interested parties should be forward notice of their interest along with a capability statement and proposed coverage area to Carol Franklin at carol.franklin@va.gov. Issuance of this Sources Sought Notice (RFI) is not an indication that a solicitation will issue for this requirement. Rather, the purpose of this Notice (RFI) is to determine the availability of possible providers for these services and the coverage area for any such provider.
