Description
This is not a request for quote or proposal. This is a Source Sought announcement in order to determine Small Business participation in the acquisition. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 238220- Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $14,000,000.00. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum intends to procure Boiler Maintenance Services for Fort Drum, NY under a single award, Firm Fixed-Price contract. Some of the duties include: Provide all plant, labor, materials, parts, supervision, and equipment necessary to perform maintenance of approximately 357 Boilers on Fort Drum, New York to include but not limited to: 1.Inspect and clean all fireside and water side surfaces. 2.Inspect and clean all reconditioning of fuel systems. 3.Check all electrical and combustion control systems. 4.Test the exhaust gases as necessary to calculate combustion efficiency and make necessary adjustments to the combustion system. The Contractor may use a portable analyzer or any applicable approved stack test method (i.e., Method 7E) when testing the exhaust gases. 5.Inspect and repair all valves (relief, safety, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.). 6.Inspect and repair of refractories. 7.Clean and inspect all fan housing, blades, and inlet screens. 8.Clean/recondition and inspect the feedwater/glycol system. Responses shall include the following: -Small Business status/category under NAICS Code 238220 -DUNS Number -CAGE Code -Proof of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) -Relevant past performance on the same or similar work (dating back to the last three years, that shows the company's capability to perform this type of work). If interested submit information no later than 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Standard Time, 18 June 2014 via email to Kelly S.
