Description

Description: The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio, 44106 anticipates soliciting sources and subsequently awarding a contract for the construction project known as "Replace 2nd Floor Connector Roof." Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including temporary access facilities, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the VAMC Louis Stokes Cleveland Replace 2nd Floor CARES Connector Roof project as required by drawings and specifications. Project includes replacement of roof to wall flashing and through wall flashing. Project includes installation of a full drainage pan under windows and door threshold and also replacement of metal wall coping on parapet wall. Modification of existing storm drains is required to fully integrate with selected roofing system. The solicitation will be issued as an "Invitation for Bid" conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14, 19, and 36 and be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The solicitation will be a 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The solicitation, when issued, will include specifications and drawings. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The primary point of contact for this project is Justin Cole and can be reached at justin.cole2@va.gov. The Government reserves the right to use only the internet as notification of any modifications to this notice. It is the offers' responsibility to view the FBO website daily for any modifications to this notice. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The Government will coordinate an organized site visit shortly after the solicitation is posted to FBO.
