Description
Performance Work Statement, C-130 HVAC Install In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201 "Exchange with industry before receipt of proposals" and (FAR) 52.215-3, "Request for information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes", t his sources sought notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This announcement is not a Request For Proposal (RFP) nor does it commit the Government to solicit or award a contract now or in the future. No solicitation is available at this time. The purpose of this notice is to identify sources capable of meeting the needs of the Government as stated herein. All businesses large and small, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc., capable of performing the requirement indicated in the attached Statement of Work are encouraged to respond to this notice. Joint Base San Antonio has a requirement to develop, design and install one (1) Mitshibushi 12000 BTU ductless Heat Pump System in the Flight Deck and one (1) Carrier 8 Ton Heat Pump System (minimum) in the Cargo Compartment of a C-130 aircraft at the 937 TRSS Medical Readiness Training Center, 6350 Marne Road, Camp Bullis, Texas. This will be a turnkey operation to include disassembly, transportation, and reassembly as necessary. Aircraft structural and systems integrity must be maintained. Sources that have the ability to provide the necessary support services are asked to respond to this notice with a brief capability statement (maximum five pages) to provide a clear and complete narrative of applicable capabilities to meet the requirements. Responses should include: company name and address, DUNS number, CAGE code, size of business as it relates to the Primary NAICS code 238220, information on any additional small business classifications granted (if applicable), current point of contact (name, phone number, and email), and a list of contracts within the past four (4) years under which the interested party has performed the same or similar work. All responses must be emailed to richard.bush.3@us.af.mil no later than 12:00 pm CST Monday, 23 June 2014.
