Description

The Contractor shall complete all efforts necessary to integrate, validate and establish a process and fabricate the equipment required to remove the internal cushioning pads and launch seals from aging Government Furnished Property (GFP) MK45 CCLS tube assemblies such that the tube assemblies could then be refurbished with new internal cushioning pads and launch seals. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Raytheon Missiles Systems (RMS), P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337 (Anyone interested in subcontracting for small business contracts contact Karen Spencer, Raytheon Missile Systems, at (520) 663-6934). RMS is the only known source capable of accomplishing this requirement in the required timeframe and without duplication of costs. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which will be considered by the agency. The data associated with the Tomahawk Missile is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives.
