Description

This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to enter into a sole source task order with Philips Healthcare, a division of Philips Electronics North America Corporation (PENAC), 22100 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell Washington 98041 for medical equipment imaging maintenance services for the Xcelera CardioPACS Main Application Server including all associated system components. Philips Healthcare will provide this service to the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. This agreement will be for a twelve (12) month period. The North American Classification System (NACIS) code is 811219. This procurement involves licensed, proprietary software, software upgrades and proprietary passwords. Any interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide service and maintenance and software upgrades. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Monday, June 23, 2014 at 3:00pm EST. Information should be sent to Takya Smith, Contracting Officer, at takya.smith@va.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the response date the Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed with the intended agreement. All questions concerning this requirement must be in writing and submitted via email to takya.smith@va.gov.
