Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 12), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), Milwaukee, WI, anticipates the award of multiple firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts for FDA-approved aortic and mitral mechanical and tissue heart valves and annuloplasty rings in various sizes with consignment, just-in-time, and urgent delivery terms. The award will be made to responsible companies that submit offers for items that (1) meet the solicitation's technical requirements and (2) provide fair market prices. The contract ordering period is for five years from date of award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 339112. To be considered a small business under this NAICS code the SBA size standard must not exceed 500 employees. The request for proposal (RFP) solicitation (VA69D-14-R-4872) will be issued on or about 18 July 2014. All information for this solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential bidders must register at FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps website.
