Description

The Michael E. Debakey VA Medical Center, intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.3602-1, 41 U.S.C. 3304(A)(1), Only one responsible source, Swisslog Translogic, 10825 East 47th Avenue, Denver, CO 80239-2913. Pharmacy Service is procuring a Swisslogic BoxPicker software upgrade for the Medportal Inventory Management System. The NAICS code is 339112 with a size standard of 500. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirements may provide written notification by email to vernester.ingram@va.gov by Monday, June 23, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply products and services that will comply with the requirements and perform satisfactorily manner. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Swisslog Translogic. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
