Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs in San Antonio Texas, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source firm fixed price purchase order with Olympus America Inc. to purchase 2 boxes of WA22557C, Electrode Button, and 2 boxes WA22306D, Electrode HF Re-sectors to interface the Olympus Thunderbeat ESG-400 unit. NAICS code 339113. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 P.M.
