Description

The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) intends to award a sole source contract to Bound Tree Medical LLC, 129 Centerville Road, Henniker, NH 03242-3295 under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items for a quantity of 3 each of the Phillips Light Weight Monitoring Defib Modules. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 with a business size standard of 500 employees. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the Government will negotiate directly with Bound Tree Medical LLC for this requirement. The proposed contract action is for medical equipment for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Phillips Light Weight Monitoring Defib Modules are used by major medical facilities. Procurement of these machines will enable compatibility with those machines already in use. Bound Tree Medical LLC is the sole distributor/reseller of this equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office by 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on 17 June 2014.
