Description

Under Statutory Authority § 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the Government anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with Optimal Solutions, LLC of Grand Rapids, MI for eVideon patient TV equipment, accessories, and installation to match the existing eVideon Interactive Patient TV System infrastructure currently in place at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, MI. The above authority is citied and justification made based upon the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. The requested equipment is available from only one source. This announcement is for equipment and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by June 19, 2014, 4:00 PM CST. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before June 19, 2014 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
