Description

This is a presolicitation notice for Fresh Milk and Dairy Products Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO West Network Contracting Office (NCO) 18 El Paso, TX, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a base year plus four one option years. This requirement is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Base Year - October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 Option Year One - October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016 Option Year Two - October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 Option Year Three - October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018 Option Year Four - October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019 Contractor shall furnish fresh milk and dairy products to the Nutrition and Food Services and the Canteen Services, located at the following addresses: Albuquerque VA Health Care System 1501 San Pedro SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 Amarillo VA Health Care System 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West Amarillo, TX 79106 Big Spring VA Health Care System 300 Veterans Blvd. Big Spring, TX 79720 El Paso VA Canteen 5001 N Piedras St. El Paso, TX 79930 The applicable NAICS code is 311511 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about June 27, 2012. All solicitation documents can be obtained through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), website www.fbo.gov. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy this requirement are invited and encouraged to provide a quote. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the quote submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all documents and acknowledging any amendments, and should re-visit the FBO website periodically to check for any changes to this notice, updates, or amendments without further notice from the VA. No other site shall be used to obtain these documents. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov.
