- DESCRIPTION: Intermediate Frequency (IF) Digitizer, Digital Receiver (IFDR), and 2 DB62 cables configured with the pin-out required to connect the vendor specific digital receiver design with the WSR-88D Interface Panel. The contractor shall be capable of providing 240 IDFRs. The following is the delivery schedule for the receivers: CLIN 0001 First Article Delivery The First Article is delivery of one complete set of hardware, software, and software licensing proposed to support the requirements of this effort. The first article must be identical to the units delivered under CLIN 0003, CLIN 0004, and OPTION CLIN 1001, and delivery shall be accompanied by a full set of technical documentation necessary to support the Government's assessment of product compliance with all requirements. The first article will be extensively tested to ensure that all system requirements are met and that no unexpected results occur. The first article test period will not exceed 90 days. CLIN 0002 IF Digital Receiver Software License - First Article Deliver software license required to support operation of CLIN 0001 First Article. CLIN 0003 IF Digital Receiver LRIP Deliver 10 LRIP units identical to those delivered under CLIN 0001 with any deviations approved by the Government. CLIN 0003 shall be delivered only after the Government has validated the performance of the proposed design through examination and testing of the First Article delivered under CLIN 0001. CLIN 0004 NOAA AOC IF Digital Receiver LRIP The NOAA Air Operations Center (AOC) has an identical requirement to support their airborne radar systems. Under CLIN 004, deliver 10 LRIP units to the NOAA AOC identical to those delivered under CLIN 0001 with any deviations approved by the Government. CLIN 0004 shall be delivered only after the Government has validated the performance of the proposed design through examination and testing of the First Article delivered under CLIN 0001. CLIN 0005 IF Digital Receiver Software License - LRIP Deliver software license required to support operation of CLIN 0003 LRIP units. OPTION ITEM CLIN 1001 IF Digital Receiver Full Production Manufacture and deliver 209 production units identical to LRIP units delivered under CLIN 0003, with any deviations approved by the Government. OPTIONAL ITEM CLIN 1002 IF Digital Receiver Full Production - Software Licenses All required software and licensing for operation of production units delivered under OPTION 1001. Delivery of CLINS 0003 and 0004 are predicated upon the successful testing of CLINS 0001 and 0002. Delivery of CLINS 1001 and 1002 are predicated upon the successful testing of CLINS 0003 and 0004. All dates listed below are tentative; official dates will be provided when the solicitation is released. TENTATIVE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: June 16, 2014 TENTATIVE PROPOSAL DUE DATE: July 10, 2014 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: September 1, 2014 DELIVERY SCHEDULE: First article units will be delivered to the ROC in Norman, OK 60 days after receipt of order. The second article units LRIP are due 90 days after First Article approval and full production is due within 12 months of LRIP approval.
