- Title: Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS) Long-Term Modernization and Sustainment Services Request for Information: The AOC WS Program Office is soliciting feedback on sources that would be interested in participating in an upcoming Industry Day to discuss a potential acquisition to provide the services described below. The Industry Day is tentatively planned for 16-17 July 2014 at Hanscom AFB, MA; dates subject to change. The AOC WS Program Office is also planning to request white papers from interested sources in conjunction with the Industry Day. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System ( NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541512, Computer Systems Design Services, but is subject to change. Only contractors who are eligible for access to export controlled technical data will be able to register and attend the Industry Day and have access to the "vendor's library". Additional details on registering and instructions on accessing the "vendor's library" will be provided once the Industry Day plans are finalized. If you are interested in participating in the anticipated Industry Day, e-mail the number of proposed attendees (request no more than three attendees from each company) to Mr. Daniel Kent at daniel.kent.1@us.af.mil and Danielle Casoli at danielle.casoli@us.af.mil NLT 19 June 2014. This will facilitate program office planning to ensure a facility with sufficient seating capacity is reserved. Please note that interested parties will still be able to register for Industry Day even if they do not respond with advance notice of their intent to attend. Requirement Description: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Operational Command and Control (C2) Division (AFLCMC/HBB) is conducting market research to seek qualified sources to provide engineering, integration, test and other technical services to support modernization, sustainment and fielding of the AOC WS baseline(s) beginning in Fiscal Year (FY) 2016. The AOC WS provides the required core air battle planning, management and execution capabilities used by the Combined/Joint Forces Air Component Commander (C/JFACC) for: planning and development of the Joint Air Operations Plan and the Air Operations Directive; generation and dissemination of the Air Tasking Order and Airspace Control Order; air and space defensive planning and execution; targeting and numerous other applications supporting air operations command and control. Disclaimer and Notice : This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that AFLCMC/HBB, will take procurement action in this matter. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, applications, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Government reserves the right to contact the submitting parties, on an as required basis, for further clarification on material provided. The Government reserves the right to contact additional customers to obtain information that will be used to evaluate each respondent's capability. This RFI shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. Further, the Government will NOT be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed. Information provided will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for the potential requirement and may lead to the development of a solicitation. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, IAW AFFARS 5352.201-9101, The Ombudsman Information, will be included.
