Description
Statement of Work Overview Attachment 2 - CCTV Mounting Photos Attachment 1 - CCTV Drawings and Coordinates This is a sources sought notice for information only. This is not a request for proposal or quotation or an announcement of a solicitation. This sources sought request for information is for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation, and is not a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid and does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The US Department of State's Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) at the US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking potential sources capable of providing a Closed Circuit of Television (CCTV) with video and real time control, involving active and passive equipment, with control center and monitoring room at the police commands of the following Colombian municipalities: Caucasia, Chaparral, Ovejas, Tibú and Buenaventura. The Contractor will also be responsible for providing the supply, installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, warranty and preventive and corrective maintenance of the Closed Circuit of Television (CCTV). The approximate number of cameras connected to the CCTV by municipality is: Caucasia 21 cameras, Chaparral 15 cameras, Ovejas 14 cameras, Tibú 13 cameras and Buenaventura 51 cameras. The approximate length of the fiber optic network required for the cameras is 11 kilometers for Caucasia, 5 Kilometers for Chaparral, 9 kilometers for Ovejas, 6 kilometers for Tibu and 30 kilometers for Buenaventura as well as civil works for adapting the locations where the control rooms and equipment will be located. The CCTV should also have a continued performance 24 hours a day during the 365 days of the year in real time. Attached are draft specifications for the CCTV requirement. We welcome and appreciate industry feedback on the specifications as drafted, please notify of any section of the specifications that is unclear, prompts questions (and ask the relevant questions), is infeasible or unrealistic, etc. Interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Capability (SOC) showing the company's ability to fulfill the requirement described above, as well as a technical package of proposed or possible equipment. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This is not a solicitation nor will a solicitation package be issued as a result of this announcement, and no award shall be made as a result of this announcement. In the event that a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) number or Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the announcement may be published on FEDBIZOPPS. Firms responding to this announcement must include company name, DUNS number, point of contact, address, phone number, and business size. For the purposes of this acquisition the applicable NAICS code is 238210. Responses are requested no later than 26 June 2014.
