Solicitation Number: FA4801-14-R-0013 Reference Number: ________________________________________ Description: This presolicitation notice is an announcement of a requirement for Building 648 CDC Classroom Furniture on Holloman AFB, New Mexico. This acquisition will be fixed price. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The 49th FSS New Child Development Center requires custom design layout, and installation of 15 Age Specific Classrooms, at Bldg. 648, 215 Patterson Drive Holloman AFB, NM 88330. Contractor shall design room layout, deliver, and install CDC Age Specific furnishings. The end product should present modern Child Development Center. Each classroom room design should meet the minimum objectives outlined below and comply with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Early Childhood Program Standards and Accreditation Criteria and Guidance for Assessment, 1 April 2014 (pg. 71-96) and provide teachers the greatest flexibility to tailor room configuration to daily needs. There is no loading dock at Bldg. 648 so the delivery truck must be equipped with a mechanical lift.. All rooms are on the ground floor of the building. DELIVERY DATE: Contractor SOW shall include schedule of delivery and installation of new furniture, storage and furnishings as outlined in this Statement of Objective. All rooms will be empty and cleared prior to the beginning of the installation. Exact Installation date will be coordinated and confirmed with the 49 FSS POC to ensure an escort is available to meet the vendor's delivery vehicle and escort them while on Holloman AFB (security requirement). All deliveries and work will occur between the hours of 0730 and 1630, and is excepted to be to accomplished with a five -day period, as specified in the solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICES: This acquisition will be competitively set-aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. A SB will be considered small under North American Classification System (NAICS) code 337127 with a size standard of 500 EMP. All offerors must be registered in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) which is a Government owned and operated free web site that consolidates the capabilities in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and the Excluded Parties Listing System (EPLS) at the website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. You are required to create a user account to register and/or update your entity records (i.e., Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, DUNs number, etc.) in SAM which were previously located in separate CCR and ORCA websites. This information is necessary in order to receive award consideration.
