Description

LIMITED SOURCES JOFOC FOR INFINIUM ISELECT HD CUSTOM KITS. The USDA, ARS intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(1) " Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements " based upon there being only one responsible source that is capable of meeting the Government's requirement. The USDA intends to solicit and negotiate with Illumina, Inc. for 8 each, WG-401-101, 24 x 1 Infinium ISelect HD Custom Kits, sub-category Fruitbreedomics_Apple_20K. Each kit contains reagents for processing 48 DNA samples and analyzing 3,072 to 90,000 loci. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all inquiries received within 7 days after date of publication of this limited source justification will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any resulting procurement would be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. An award notice for Illumina, Inc. may be posted on FBO in the near future.
