Description
Allied Tactical Vehicles. The Product Manager Allied Tactical Vehicles (PM ATV) located at the United States Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) in Warren, Michigan provides life cycle management of vehicles for the Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF) to have self-sustaining maneuvering capabilities. Market Survey Request. This market survey seeks to identify sources capable of producing non-MIL standard technical 30/40 Sustainment Level Maintenance manuals and Training Programs of Instruction (POI) for the Mobile Strike Force Vehicle (MFSV). Sources should also be capable of developing a manual that includes tasks such as power-pack repairs, axle repairs; turret repairs; electrical repairs; hull and welding repairs; Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR); develop Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) etc. Manuals are not required to be developed in accordance with MIL-STD 40051 or authenticated through Army organizational approvals, however, the content, and construct, will be similar to MIL-STD manuals. Finally, because these manuals are being developed to support the ANSF, the manuals will be developed in English and then human translated into Dari and Pashtu. Provide any technical specifications or data sheets describing your firm's capabilities, supportability, quality, cost, availability or other information not specifically requested that you feel would be informative. The Government does NOT wish to obtain any proprietary, classified, or otherwise protected documents as a result of this market survey. The Government may return such data or documents submitted that have proprietary or protected markings. This market research process is intended to obtain only non-proprietary and unclassified available information about contractors' capabilities. All portions of this enclosure are merely for market research purposes, subject to change at any time, are in no way binding on the Government and do not represent an established requirement. Any enclosures are furnished for information purposes only with the understanding that the Government is under no obligation of any kind to proceed with an acquisition in any way related to or based upon the data set forth in these enclosures. Nothing contained in this survey should be regarded as a basis upon which to seek payment, reimbursement or other consideration from the Government. Moreover, this letter is not intended as a solicitation of any proposal. Response Format. Electronic responses are required. It is requested that electronic responses be provided in any of the following formats: Microsoft Word 2010 or earlier, Microsoft Excel 2010 or earlier, Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 or earlier or Adobe Acrobat. The maximum size of each e-mail message should be no more than three and one-half (3.5) megabytes. You may use multiple e-mail messages. The subject line must include the message number, (example: 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3), and quote mark [Firm's Name] response to ANSF- 30/40 Manual Requirement quote mark. All interested firms, regardless of size, are encouraged to respond to this request for information. It is not necessary to respond to this announcement in order to be eligible for future contract awards. There is no scheduled date for the release of a Request for Proposal related to this project.
