Description

This is not a request for proposal or a request for quote. There is no solicitation document available. This is a notice of intent of the Department of Veteran Affairs, Portland, Oregon to negotiate a sole source contract with Oregon Health and Science University, for Residence Educational Cost Reimbursement. It is in the best interest of the Government to acquire the products through University Affiliate Agreements. These relationships between the VA and the nation academia universities are critical to ensure the VA plays a leadership role in reshaping the education of future healthcare professionals to help meet the complex scope of the nation's health care delivery system. The strategies are in the best interest of the Federal government and the price is fair and reasonable. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is Title 38 USC 8153. This procurement is being conducted using FAR Part 15 procedures. Please reply no later than July 1, 2014 to Paul.Richardson2@va.gov.
