SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: 1 NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 Purpose The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 541519 which has a corresponding Size standard of $25,500,000 dollars. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a) Business Development program (Service-Disabled Veteran­Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned) small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar products offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2 PROGRAM DETAILS: The 517th SMXS software maintenance squadron is tasked with sustainment of the Launch and early-orbit Anomaly-resolution and Disposal Operations (LADO) software for the Global Positioning System (GPS). The 517 SMXS is responsible for integrating FreeFlyer software code into the operational baseline and testing the integrated software, managing the test laboratory, and performing configuration and data management. FreeFlyer software is used within LADO to perform Mission Planning and Orbital Analysis (MPOA) functions. The government is interested in acquiring seventeen FreeFlyer software maintenance and license transfer agreements to sustain the LADO MPOA functions provided by FreeFlyer software. These software maintenance and license transfer agreements will allow the government to update FreeFlyer code and transfer node-lock software from one workstation to another as a repair action. 3 GOVERNMENT REQUEST: The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to provide software maintenance and license transfer support for FreeFlyer software. Can you provide these through GSA advantage? 9. What is the lead time of the units? 10. Discusses any concerns you may have with our requirement or how you would be able to provide the units.
