- THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quote or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for a new OEM certified coupling and GFL required for the renewal of the Main Engine Coupling (Starboard-clockwise)(BC 125/30/140/L) and GFL (S90F8A) to be installed aboard the USNS BIG HORN (T-AO 198). The required delivery date is 1 December 2014. The estimated issued date for this solicitation is on or about 16 June 2014 with an estimated closing date of 27 June 2014. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on FEDBIZOPS (https://www.fbo.gov/) under solicitation number N32205-14-T-1447. All requests must provide Dun & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. This requirement will be solicited as a small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The appropriate NAICS Code is 333613. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from this potential source as a result of synopsis. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice.
