Description
Drawings Special Project Specs Solicitation SF-18 Quote Form Z- Taylor Hills ATV Trail Reconstruction on the Lewis & Clark National Forest Project Location: Township 14 North, Range 5 East, Sections 7, 18, 13, & 24 To access the project from Great Falls, MT: Take US Highway 89/87 East for approximately 23 miles. Turn right on US Highway 89 and continue south for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto Evans Riceville Road and continue for approximately 9 miles. Stay on Lick Creek Road, Forest Road number 67 and continue for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on Divide Road, Forest Road number 839 and continue for approximately 8 miles. The destination of the Taylor Hills trailhead is on the right. Description of Work. The project consists of the construction and restoration of 4.1 miles of Taylor Hills trail on the Lewis and Clark National Forest. Work consists of trail construction, trail obliteration, trail restoration, and other related work. The project is being solicited as surveyed in the fall of 2013. Because of a pending change in the transportation plan, after survey, it is likely that the far end of the project will be shortened by approximately one third mile after award. This change will be negotiated with the successful bidder after layout and design can take place in early summer of 2014. Construction Magnitude $25,000 to $100,000 Period of Performance : July 7, 2014 to August 30, 2015
