- This is a sources sought synopsis for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, management, and financial capability of offerors to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. Proposed Project: The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools and materials, travel costs, supervision and other items and services necessary to build, deliver and install a prefabricated aluminum fixed fishing pier. Build, deliver, and install a prefabricated aluminum fixed fishing pier. Accessible gangway entrance, piles, and handrail to the Contact Point Trail, Lake Havasu, Arizona. Provide all hardware items necessary to facilitate a complete installation of the fishing pier, gangway, piles, and handrail, including cross bracing. Provide complete assembly, installation and anchoring instructions for the pier. Provide installation instructions for installation of the fixed pier on piles. Provide Design and Specifications reviewed and approved by a Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona prior to construction. Interested sources are welcome to submit a capability statement on or before 1:00 PM local time, June 20, 2014. Submittals will be reviewed and considered by Reclamation during the solicitation planning process. Send your capability package by email to Diane Rodriguez at dlrodriguez@usbr.gov. Package should include the following information: 1. Capability statement - showing recent experience doing this type of work or work similar in scope and complexity. 2. Contractor must have sufficient financial and management capability to assure bonding up to $250,000.00. 2. Provide your business name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address. 3. Provide your business size and type: 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business or Large Business, etc. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAIC) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 Million. Firms may also provide recommendation for use of an alternate NAICS code.
