- Notification of Sole Source Procurement: In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) the Government intends to limit sources to Yager Materials for the Hull Repair of the MV Hodges LD761 Workboat at Newburgh Lock and Dam, Newburgh, IN. This is due to the fact that Yager Marine is the only company within the immediate area of Newburgh, IN that was qualified and willing to do the repairs needed. In addition to the cost of repairs; transporting the work boat to locations outside of this area would add to the overall cost. Yager Materials is located 24 miles from Newburgh Locks and is the closest qualified company willing to perform the services, which is important due to the needed inspection as repairs are completed. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A capability statement, proposal or quotation must be submitted no later than 11:00 AM EST Friday, 13 June 2014 to stephen.p.hutchens@usace.army.mil.
