Description
8(a) Sole Source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract with pre-established prices on contract exhibit line items (ELIN) that will provide the necessary construction services, material, labor, transportation, tools, equipment, management, supervision and quality control necessary for the abatement of asbestos containing materials, abatement of surfaces contaminated with lead paint and remediation and removal of mold contamination from a variety of surfaces or material. The work will occur predominantly at Naval and Marine facilities in Ventura County, Orange County and Riverside County, California. The actual amount of work to be performed and the time of such performance will be determined by the Contracting Officer, or his/her properly authorized representative, who will issue a task order to the Contractor. The task order will contain the quantity for each applicable ELIN (pre-established line items) and the associated costs and be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis. The maximum of $3,618,579.15 will serve as the maximum/NTE amount of the entire contract period and is based on the total price of the task orders. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract for up to two (2) 12-month periods by written notice to the Contractor within the performance period specified in the Schedule. The construction contract was procured as an 8(a) sole source acquisition in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USD 637(a)(1), FAR Part 19.8 and with the Partnership Agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense executed on October 23, 2012.
