Description

The Department of Veterans (VA), Washington, District of Columbia (NCO 5) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Hampshire County Committee on Aging, School Street Beardirich, Romney, WV 26757-0000. The purpose of the award is to maintain placement of the veteran in a facility that is in proximity to the veteran's home or place of residence or in proximity to where the veteran's family or social connections are found. In accordance with statutory authority 41 U.S.C.253(c) (1) and 38 USC 1720 the VA intends to negotiate a BOA for (1)-one, twelve month base period and (4)-four, twelve month option periods. This action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 and under commercial item format prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.
