- The VHA Simulation Learning, Education and Research Network (SimLEARN) Program will be hosting two (2) Women's Health Mini-Residencies in Orlando, FL, during the weeks of 16 Jun 2014 and 11 August 2014. Each Mini-Residency will provide up to 200 VHA Participants the opportunity to attend lectures on Women's Health, to practice examination procedures on Pelvic Task Trainers (PTTs) and Breast Task Trainers (BTTs), and to practice examination procedures using Gynecological Training Associates (GTAs). The WHMR lectures, PTT practice examinations, and BTT practice examinations will be at a hotel in the immediate Orlando International Airport (OIA) area. The practice examination procedures using GTAs will be conducted at a medical facility in the immediate OIA area.Critical Requirements: Provide Instruction on the use of Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) Simulators at two Women's Health Mini-Residencies (WHMRs) in Orlando, Fl 17-18 June 2014 and 12-13 Aug 2014. Provide three (3) Instructors for Tuesday, Noon - 7:00PM, (17 June 2014 and 12 Aug 2014); and Wednesday Noon - 7:00PM, (18 June 2014 and 13 Aug 2014). Provide Two (2) Standalone Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) Simulators for the Training Room. Provide Two (2) CBE Simulator training tables. Provider must supply Ear Phones for each system to reduce background noise. Provide two sets of Spare Breasts for instruction at each WHMR.
