- Notice Type: Class J&A to extend the ordering period for four (4) month and a twelve (12) month option for each of the contracts listed above. SYNOPSIS: The Government intends to extend the ordering period of the CNTPO MAIDIQ contracts listed above for a period not to exceed 16 months (from 24 August 2014 through 31 December 2015) in order to allow sufficient time to solicit, evaluate, and award follow-on MAIDIQ contracts in support of CNTPO. Delays, in the award of the four follow-on competitive actions have occurred and a gap in contract coverage and support to the CNTPO program will occur unless an extension is granted. Two of the four competitive actions are currently undergoing proposal evaluations. The Air Mobility Command Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) is now responsible for this requirement. A special notice has been posted regarding these two requirements. However, when the competitive follow-on contracts are awarded, all new task order requirements will be competed under the new MAIDIQ arrangements.
