Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Sea Services Leadership Association of Woodbridge, VA to provide registration and facilitation for the Joint Woman ™s Leadership Symposium in Norfolk, VA. The Symposium provides a platform for professional development through networking, education, and mentorship of women from all three maritime forces. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order to commence on 12June 2014 - 13 June 2014. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Sea Services Leadership Association, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 813920. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 09 June 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
