- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a need for solid waste collection, removal, and disposal service, and cardboard recycling service for one base year beginning 1 July 2014 and ending 30 June 2015 with the option to extend up to four additional years for a total of five years. Services to be performed include: "Rental of two (2) 42 cubic-yard, solid waste compactor to be located one-each at 5171 Sam Jared Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 and 3209 Elam Farms Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37127. Duration of compactor rental at Sam Jared location will be for only one-year until facility close-down. Compactor rental at Elam Farms Parkway will be for the duration of the contract. "Rental of one (1) 42 cubic-yard compactor for cardboard recycling at Sam Jared location for one-year until facility close-down. "Solid waste removal and disposal for both sites. Sam Jared location will be for only one-year until facility close-down. Elam Farms Parkway will be for the duration of the contract. "Recycling pickup for cardboard at Sam Jared location for one-year until facility close-down. Materials are to be marketed, and profits returned to the CMOP. "Pallet pickup for both sites. Sam Jared location will be for only one-year until facility close-down. Elam Farms Parkway will be for the duration of the contract. A site visit may be arranged by contacting the COR, Mr. Branden Penston, at (615) 225-3442. These requirements shall be performed in accordance with all federal, state, local and commercial standards and the Specifications. The solicitation will be made available June 9, 2014, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through the FBO website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. THIS PROCURMENT IS UNDER NAICS CODE 562111 WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $35.5 Million. This solicitation will be Open Market.
