- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors of an upcoming opportunity for the sale of crushed concrete at Camp Lejeune. The successful offeror shall be responsible for crushing, grinding, and removal of recycled concrete at the Camp Lejeune Landfill Recycling Center. The processed material shall become the property of the contractor. There is approximately 42,000 tons available. The procurement method will be sealed bidding for sale of Government Property. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 212319 and the annual size standard is 500 employees. The Government may award this contract to more than one contractor. The Government will give fair consideration to all awardees in placing orders based on criteria stated in the solicitation. The contract term will be a base period of up to six months from the date of award. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid guaranty in the amount of 20% of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of a bid bond on a Standard Form 24 or a certified cashier ™s check.
