- ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to Stolar Research Corporation, 7701 Innovation Way NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Stolar Research Corporation is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's requirements due to the proprietary nature of the systems being procured. The Government intends to acquire two (2) additional land based robotic detection systems developed by Stolar. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 5:00 P.M. CST on 20 June 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Please submit information for consideration by the Government to Melissa.A.Keen@usace.army.mil with the solicitation number referenced in the subject line. The resulting contract will enable the vendor to provide two additional systems, which are unique to Stolar Research Corporation, and are the only land based robotic detection systems with the capability of finding the required target set.
