- This is not a Request for Project Proposals and/or Task Request, but for planning purposes only. A project award will not be awarded from this announcement. The Government intends to announce a Task Request for execution of a project award in support of Future Vertical Lift Initiative related research areas. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the Vertical Lift Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. As a result of the Vertical Lift Initiative Industry Day in May 2009, one (1) consortium formed, the Vertical Lift Consortium. It is the intent of the Government to make one (1) award to the Vertical Lift Consortium as a result of Task Requests 03. The anticipated Research Area for which project proposals will be sought is as follows: Joint Common Architecture (JCA) Version 1.0 Development Support. The Task Request for Proposals (W15QKN-10-9-0003-TR03) will be issued to the Vertical Lift Consortium's Administrative Agent, SCRA Applied R&D, who will then issue the request to the Consortium.
