- Z- MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND ALTERATIONS OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE WEATHER FORECAST OFFICE BALTIMORE AND STERLING VA FOR NWS NOAA NOTICE DATE: JUNE 4, 2014 Notice Type: pre-Solicitation NAICS: 561730 - Seasonal Property Maintenance Services Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of the National Weather Service (NWS) is soliciting a requirement to perform the full service grounds keeping maintenance at the Baltimore Weather Forecast Office and Sterling Field Support Center Sterling VA. Provide all labor, material and equipment in accordance with the attached Statements of Work. This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, which has a corresponding size standard of $7,000,000.00 or less. Solicitation number EA-133W-14-RQ-0459 issued June 4, 2014 and will close June 13, 2014 at 10:00 am EST. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work Specification is From June 20, 2014 through October 31, 2018. Base period of pereformance will be from the 20th of June 2014 through October 31, 2014. Each period of performance after the base year will be May 1st-October 31st. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about June 18, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
