- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Bliss Texas, 1733 Pleasonton Road, El Paso, TX 79916 is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), in accordance with FAR 15.201(b). This is not a solicitation. This announcement does not constitute a Request For Quote (RFQ), Invitation For Bid (IFB), Request For Proposal (RFP), Request For Application (RFA) or an announcement of a solicitation nor does this announcement commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this sources sought; all costs associated with responding to this announcement will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Any resultant solicitation, if any, will be released through Federal Business Opportunities at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This sources sought is issued for the sole purpose of MICC Fort Bliss to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. Description of Requirement: The NAICS for this requirement is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is to provide Audio/Visual (A/V) technical refresh for the Joint Operations Command Center at Joint Task Force North; which will include but not limited to: Install two new data video walls for continuous 24 hour, 7 day a week operation. These video walls will replace the current six (6) 67 quote mark Clarity displays and two (2) 50-inch Sony displays; Install four (4) new tabletop microphones at the conference table that includes a programmable mute switch and a with LED indicator; providing new equipment, installing data video walls, microphones, routing and switching and controls; install an AMX Enova digital media switcher with 64 inputs and 64 outputs (64x64); and an AMX control system central controller unit on a rack-mounted chassis inside the equipment room. Each of these touch panels must be programmed to allow audio and video preview in addition to source routing and control, volume up/down, and system on/off. It must allow the choice of video wall configurations and the routing of any input to any monitor on either wall with real time labeling to indicate what is routed to any specific monitor. It must also allow the operator to listen to any one input at a time, and the operator shall control of the volume and mute buttons. Route cameras to the video wall if needed and also to the OFE VTC systems. Camera control must be via the user interface with programmable presets. The user interface must have VTC controls to perform dialing functions, camera selection, content selections, and volume control for send and receive. The user interface must have a control page for the BluRay player providing Play, FF, RW, Pause, Stop, Menu, and navigation buttons. The user interface must also have a control page for the OFE satellite receivers to control IR over channel selection, menu, and volume. The OFE video security system and AIPhone (http://www.aiphone.com/home/) access control system must be given a page to route to the wall and have volume control.. New equipment must be compatible with current equipment and software. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than7 pages in length, 12 point font minimum). Responses should include Company profile to include company name, office location(s), DUNS/CAGE Code number, Name, title address, phone number, email address of company point of contact. Prior/current experience performing efforts of similar scope within the last five years, including contract number, organization supported indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value. The Government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice.
