- Transporation Data for Solicitations Packaging Requirements This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Solicitation/Purchase Request Number FA8307-14-Q-0141 is issued as a RFQ. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 60 effective 26 Jul 2012. This solicitation is under Other Than Full and Open Competition and is a SOLE SOURCE ONLY requirement. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract utilizing SAP for evaluation and repair of four (4 ea.) Wide Area Surveillance Thermal Imagers-Uncooled (WSTI-U) w/Closed Circuit (CC) TV, Part Number 194760 and one (1 ea.) Super Long Range Thermal Imager (SLRTI) w/ CC TV, Part Number 614005655/SYSTEM/AFCENT. FLIR Systems Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for both repair parts. The associated North American Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) code for this service acquisition is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Delivery requirements are 60 days after receipt of order. Award will be made on "all" or "none" basis. The anticipated award date is 25 Jul 2014. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit a written quote to include discount terms, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation, contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions. You may register at URL: http://www.sam.gov/ The contractor must submit the invoice to the address in Block 18a of the contract. Likewise, the receiving official must submit a copy of the receiving report to the address in Block 18a of the contract. The detailed process will be outlined in the purchase order.
