- Draft PWS This is to identify sources that can perform Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Fire Protection Systems on Okinawa, Japan. Firms who are interested should respond electronically to Mr. Ken Kuresaki via email at ken.kuresaki.jp@us.af.mil. by 20 Jun 2014 including the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) a point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email; (3) cage code and DUNS number (if available). Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, vehicle, supervision, labor and other items and services necessary to perform inspection, testing, maintenance and repairs of fire protection systems in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes, Work Load Requirements and Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM) Tasks at various buildings and locations on Okinawa, Japan. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps)& nbsp;website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
