Description

COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. SOLICITATION # SPE4A614-R-1923 PR# 0052681399 ; NSN 2995-01-530-2359 ; Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity Contract; Unrestricted Acquisition; Other Than Full and Open Competition; The only approved manufacturing sources are General Electric, Cage 07482. ITEM: Manifold, Fuel; P/N 2171M26P01 ; Critical Safety Item, Configuration Control Applies; Quantity of 45 units; Inspection/Acceptance at Origin; FOB at Origin; Requested delivery is 320 days after receipt of order. Progress Payments are not offered as the conditions at FAR 32.5 have not been met; any manufacturer, other than the approved source, wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval package and a complete solicitation package. There are no First Article Test (FAT) requirements. ABVS/PPIRS applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is a Sole Source item per (FAR 6.302). The solicitation issue date is May 29, 2014. The anticipated closing date is April 4, 2014. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
