- As previously announced, the NIH's Office of Acquisition Management and Policy (OAMP) is hosting a Small Business Industry Day at the Natcher Conference Center, 45 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892, Monday, June 30, 2014 from 9 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. In person registration will open at 8:00 AM; however, it is preferable that you register prior to the event by following the instructions below. On-line registration is now available at: http://oamp.od.nih.gov/news/2014-nih-small-business-industry-day The June 30th event entitled "NIH & Small Business Synergy" will enable all small businesses, with a special emphasis on HUBZONE and Service Disabled Veteran-owned (SDVOSB) firms, to network and potentially partner in acquisition opportunities at NIH. There will be a plenary session, a panel discussion, workshops, one-on-one discussions between vendors and NIH representatives, and Government and Industry sponsored booths. Reservations are required. Only two (2) attendees per company may register for this event. Online registration is available through June 24, 2014. Please note that online registration is the preferred method for making reservations. There will be Matchmaking segments from 1:00-3:45 pm. Each vendor will have an opportunity to select two of the ten Acquisition Offices (AOs) that support the twenty-eight NIH Institutes and Centers. During the matchmaking segments only two representatives per company will be allowed to meet with acquisition and program officials from the AOs. The on-line registration has a drop-down IC menu so you can make your 1st and 2nd selection choices. For example: 1st = NCI 2 nd = NHLBI Each session will last 10 minutes. Please visit the NIH website to learn more about the NIH Institutes/Centers before making your Matchmaking selections. A final appointment schedule will be provided to each vendor at registration on the day of the event.
