- SOLE SOURCE NOTICE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES Altus AFB has a requirement for 15 NVG A7041R Runway Edge Lights and 10 Optical Shields that fit said lights. Carmanah Technologies Corporation is the only company found that makes and sells the A7041R runway edge lights and respective optical shields. The 97 th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to Carmanah Technologies Corporation. Interested parties may e-mail joshua.bruce@us.af.mil or fax to (580) 481-5654, Attn: Joshua Bruce. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
