Description
Linear Move Irrigation System Specifications: •· Hose drag electric cord Linear Move Irrigation System •· Field Dimensions: 650 feet by 535 feet •· Maximum Travel Distance 650 feet •· Pressurized Water Source Located on field boundary near the mid-point of the travel length •· 3 Phase 480 VAC power located on field boundary near the mid-point of the travel length •· Specific tower locations relative to field boundary parallel to travel length are required as follows due fixed in-field research plot locations: Distance from field boundary parallel to travel length for each tower are: •· Cart = 0 ft •· First Tower = 131 feet +/- 5 feet •· Second Tower = 264 feet +/- 5 feet •· Third Tower = 392 feet +/- 5 feet •· Fourth Tower = 530 feet +/ 5 feet The irrigation system control cart can be either 2 or 4 wheeled. Guidance System is to be buried cable. The buried guidance cable must be installed using trenching and the guidance wire placed in a straight line to ensure the machine does not alter travel speed due to misalignment of the guidance cable along the 650 foot length of travel. Water supply connection is required to be 5 inch diameter soft hose with connection hardware for a 4 inch diameter riser for the water supply connection. Span pipe is to be 6 5/8 inch diameter with standard corrosion protection Sprinkler outlet spacing along each span pipe is to be equally spaced with spacing in the range of 25 to 45 inches. Sprinkler package will be provided by the purchaser. The irrigation system is to be supplied with solid drop pipes with a spacing of 96 to 120 inch along the span length. Drop pipe terminal height is to be 72 inches. Maximum travel speed of the irrigation system at 100% timer setting is to be in the range of 9 to 12 feet per minute. The irrigation system controller is to provide for programming of multiple stop points with water control along the length of travel. The irrigation system controller it to provide for programming of system travel speed at set locations along the length of travel and allow for up to 10 location - speed changes to be programmed and sequentially executed over the field length. The irrigation system controller is to provide for remote monitoring and control of the irrigation system using computer based internet access and cell phone access. An existing lateral move irrigation system at the site is available for trade in allowance if desired.
