- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Project Description: Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about June 6, 2014 Description: Pre-commercial thinning/release of conifers. Slash shall be treated by hand piling and covering piles with paper and buck on the Klamath National Forest. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Site Visit: A pre-bid tour is scheduled for June 16, 2014 at 8:00am. The tour will leave the Salmon/Scott River Ranger Station at 11263 N. Hwy 3 in Fort Jones, CA. Location: This project will be located on the Scott River Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, CA. Price Range: Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than 3:30 p.m. PDT on date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
