Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, New York will be posting a Request for Quotation on or about June 17, 2013 to replace dock levelers, Project No. 528A5-14-516. All work shall be performed at the Canandaigua VA. The general scope of this project is to remove and replace five (5) existing dock levelers located in two buildings as shown on the attached drawings and specifications. Work shall include removal and disconnection of existing dock levelers, preparation of the existing walls/pits to receive the new dock levelers, installation of the new dock levelers, and commissioning of the new levelers to ensure proper operation. No more than one dock leveler shall be placed out of service at one time at each building. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses'. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $33.5 M. The cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the RFQ.
